Top-notch Design Student Joins SCA Design: Rachel Dang is a summer intern that comes from Northern Arizona University (NAU) to further her experience in Interior Design. Ms. Dang is a kind, knowledgeable, creative, and logical person. Moreover, she works well with others and can communicate to come to the best decisions. She is in the CIDA accredited Interior Design Program and is working toward her Bachelors degree.
Ms. Dang’s start in Architecture and Design began when she first designed a model home with her mom. From there her interest grew and she decided to major in Interior Design. Her hard work in dual credit courses during high school allowed her to complete her general education credits for college. Now Ms. Dang can solely focus on her coursework and her other hobbies. Ms. Dang enjoys creating mood boards, drawing, painting landscapes, and traveling. Among her favorite places to travel were Italy and London.
SCA Design Hires Arizona College Student
Ms. Dang came back to Las Vegas to stay with her family for the summer and decided to apply for an internship at SCA Design. Currently, Ms. Dang works on pairing customer needs with effective design, builds 2-D and 3-D models for different projects, and works with coworkers to create cohesive projects. Furthermore, she is growing her skills of drafting and rendering architecture, planning color coordination, learning space and scale, and using several online programs such as AutoCAD.
SCA Design is happy to have Ms. Dang a part of the team and is excited to see where she will go on her journey in architecture and design.
