Promising Interior Design Student Joins SCA Design
Summer 2023: Promising Interior Design Student Joins SCA Design. College Architecture Student Interns with SCA Design: BreAnna Gaitor is a third year architecture and design student at University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). After graduating from Northwest Career & Technical academy with an Advanced Honors Diploma, BreAnna pursued architecture and engineering. During her time at UNLV Ms. Gaitor participated in the American Society of Interior Designers and the Alliance for Professionals of African Heritage. Additionally, Ms. Gaitor worked in an internship at the Las Vegas Valley Water District that added to her prowess in architecture and design.
Ms. Gaitor has proved to be qualified in various architecture software programs throughout her career and in education. Her experience in 2-D design includes Inventor and AutoCAD, while her experience in 3-D design includes ReVit, Rhino, and Solidworks. Ms. Gaitor’s school and work career has led to knowledge in workflow documents, website design, various office tasks, content research, time management, and problem solving.

At SCA Design, Ms. Gaitor works with her coworkers to draft construction documents that are in new developments. She also meets with clients to get their specifications to design properties that are able to suit all of their needs.
Ms. Gaitor is well rounded and has many interests outside of work. She likes baking bread, studying different languages like Spanish, and reading Andy Weir with the Martian being her favorite. Something that people may not know about her at first glance is her love for trivia and fun facts.
