Time for a cup of coffee?  Developer Agora Realty & Management  and The City of North Las Vegas knew it was a good idea and strategic placement for this Downtown Starbucks North Las Vegas Gateway location. And Las Vegas Architect Sheldon Colen was happy to design the grey shell building, as he loves both architecture design and his daily Starbucks Coffee. This exciting project is located at N. 5th Street & E. Lake Mead Blvd., North Las Vegas. This Agora Realty project is part of the revitalization and redevelopment Downtown North Las Vegas Gateway. It has great support of the City of North Las Vegas. We are excited for this coffee shop architecture project and master planning. Scope included Site plan, Design and Architectural Construction Drawings, Self Certification, & Construction Administration. 2,360SF of 15,834 SQFT

This Starbucks has newly been completed with CDs and planning by SCA Design, Structural by T-Square Consulting Engineers Inc.,  Mechanical Plumbing engineering by Mariano Engineering, Electrical by Penso Engineering, Civil by Zenith Engineers and construction by R&O Construction.  Agora Realty and Management, Inc.

Known worldwide for their commitment to the highest quality coffee and engagement with customers while doing responsible business, this Starbucks location is one of the City of North Las Vegas’ FY 2024-2025 Highlights. Mayor Pamela Goynes-Brown and council were part of the Hylo Park South Groundbreaking January 28th, 2025. SCA Design is proud to be part of the story, as the CNLV “Commemorated Agora’s new 30,000 sq ft medical office building with a ribbon-cutting within the Downtown Redevelopment Area, along with the grand opening of Starbucks plus the installation of 24 Tesla charging stations all as part of the Downtown Gateway” as quoted in their Adopted Budget Fiscal Year 2025-2026 document. Notably, SCA Design  has participated in countless development projects including many completed Starbucks Coffee shops, Dutch Bros, and other notable coffee locations, as well as the Hylo Park development for Agora Realty. The City page states “The Hylo Park development represents a significant milestone in North Las Vegas’ growth, bringing much-needed retail and dining options to an underserved area.  The development will feature wider, shaded walkways connecting to 393 new single-family and detached homes, creating an integrated, pedestrian-friendly neighborhood.” (2) SCA Design is working with Agora Realty and Management in developing the Hylo Park Project and redevelopment of the Downtown North Las Vegas Gateway.
